Campaign Kickoff Recap - July 2025

Dan Olesen launched his campaign for Calgary Ward 1 with a tough conversation among friends, local business owners, and residents. The message was clear: this campaign is about listening, collaboration, and making sure people have a real voice. Dan was encouraged to run not because he needed the job, but because he cares  about the community.

Showing Up Across Across Ward 1

Dan wants to meet you on your terms, at a community event, local business, or even your front step. Being your Ward 1 councillor is about showing up, listening, and respecting the realities of your day to day life. Not everyone engages with politics the same way, and that is okay. This campaign is about connection, not expectation.
